I have decided to hold my first ever contest! The contest is simple:
- The prize: a free complete custom blog layout designed by me
- How to win: comment to this post answering the following questions. 1) What was your reason for starting your blog? 2) What is your reason for wanting a blog layout?
- You must comment to this post (please do not e-mail me or comment to another post or else your entry will not count) and it must be done by this Tuesday (October 7) at 11 pm (Eastern Standard Time).
- Your comment will count for one entry into the contest, but if you post about this contest on your blog you will earn two additional entries into the contest. If you decide to post about it on your blog, please let me know so I can come check out your blog and know to give you two more entries to the contest.
- After I close the contest on Tuesday night, I will assign a number (or numbers to additional entries) and randomly choose a winner. The winner will be posted sometime Wednesday afternoon.

1) I started my blog because I am a stay at home mom who needs to keep her brain cells working. I just felt I needed to stimulate my brain because my two toddlers weren't doing it for me.
2) I already have a layout, but thought it would be nice to switch every now and then.

I started my blog to keep in touch with family and friends. I can share pics/stories in one place and not forget to tell someone. We have a large extended family!
I am in desperate need of a layout. I would love a layout to reflect my personality and make people smile when they see our blog. I wish I knew how to make one, but I don't. And my budget is tight so I am crossing my fingers on winning!

1. We are expecting our first baby in March! We are so thankful for this little miracle from God and we can't wait to share our journey though pregnancy, the birth of our new baby, and our family adventures with our family and friends via a blog. My family all lives in GA and my husband has family in PA and overseas. We don't see them often and want to share our life with them through a blog. We both work full time and want a quick and easy way to communicate with our loved ones through stories of what is going on in our lives and send out our favorite family photos!
2. I need your help! I have created a blog on "blogger" but that is where my creativity has stopped! I don't have a layout at all. I haven't even posted anything on it the blog yet because I am waiting on you to work your magic :) Your layouts are beautiful!

1. I fell in love with the blogs of a Texas mom of quads. We are friends of friends with the mom. Seeing their blog made it clear that I should blog too. What a great way to keep our (way too far away) families in touch and a part of all of my son's milestones.
2. I am looking for a new blog to show my son's growth and to start a next chapter for the three of us.

1. I started my blog as so many other moms - to share all of the special moments (big & small) with family and friends. All of our families are on the opposite coast and the blog lets them know what's going on with our twin miracles!
2. I have no clue how to do any type of layout except for what blogspot offers. None of them really capture the spirit and individuality of my twins. They are so special and deserve the same for their site.

Hilary, thank you so much for offering this contest. I had posted a comment previously so I could be entered into the contest. However, I am withdrawing my name so that others may have more of an opportunity to win. My husband who is great at blog design has decided to help me create our family blog. 1. I started my blog to mainly keep in touch with family that do not live by us. Then it just took off from there and I decided that I loved writing about my son and things he does on a daily basis!
2. I would love to have a new blog design because I don't have one period! I suck at it to put it mildly. Everytime I try to do something new, I screw up everything I have already done! I want a cool looking blog like everyone else.

1. I started my blog so that I can write things that interest me, offer my opinion to the world, and give a laugh to anyone who reads it. I named my blog Courtneyology 101 because my blog is also a discovery of "me" as a 19 year old trying to figure out where I fit in the world.

1) I started my blog because i am the type of person that likes to record things that are important to me now so I can look back later and remember. I think the ideas of a "diary" or "journal" are neat.. and so fascinating to go back and reminisce. A blog for me is basically the same thing - a record of things in my life - the 21st century way.
2) My current design is also by you.. and I like it a lot, but I just think its time for a change.
1. I started my blog because I love to write and I had been a secret blog follower to many, many people for a long time. I felt like I had so many "friends", but they had no clue about me! Now I am friends with all of them because I started leaving comments AND inviting them to my blog. Plus I love LOVE love telling about my family! I can't wait for my kiddos to read all of this someday.
2. Cool, fun blog layouts bring such a smile to my face (but I can't figure out how to make the adorable ones!)! I would love for mine to be sassy and cute like yours ALL are!!!
